Ask your administrator if you think this is wrong. ====== Interesting Fossil ====== <wrap lo>Tuesday July 24, 2012</wrap> My son Chris located a very unique fossil in the Camden, Ohio area. {{ :ceph01.jpg?400 |}} On initial examination, I thought that it might be several fossils, but after looking at it hands-on, I believe that it is actually a single organism. It looks like we have a distinct, rather large, [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ordovician|Ordovician cephalopod]] fossil. {{ :ceph02.jpg?400 |}} {{ :ceph03.jpg?400 |}} The larger half is the shell, which has split and/or been flattened. {{ :ceph04.jpg?400 |}} The smaller half is actually an [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endocast|endocast]] (internal mold), and the shell has been lost from this section.
